Tonto was born and raised in The Netherlands Rotterdam with Dutch, Ghanian, and Polish roots. 

Tonto trained in Rotterdam at the performing arts school Codarts, specialising in contemporary dance and ballet. Tonto also studied dance at Alvin Ailey in New York. Before moving to London, Tonto danced at a contemporary company in Holland called Introdans and did varies cruise ship contracts for companies like Norwegian Cruise Lines and Princess Cruises. 

Tonto moved to London nine years ago to continue pursuing dance and modelling. Over the years, Tonto has done various shoots, commercials, fashion dance shows, pantos, corporate gigs and filming for television series and movies. Tonto danced for five years at The London Cabaret Club which was followed by a two-year residency for Lio London.
