Christopher Howell
Standby for Robin Hood
Christopher works as an Actor and Director. He has appeared in 18 West End shows (to date) and has toured both nationally and internationally. Some of his television and film credits include 42nd Street, Made in the 80’s, Les Misérables, Kiss Me Kate, The Phantom of the Opera, The Spadesman, and Buddy. This year he spent five months in Shanghai performing as The Keeper in the English language premier of the hit Chinese musical, The Lightkeepers and played Roy Tunt in The Sociable Plover (Frinton).
His recent directing credits include Re:Discovery (Leicester Square Theatre), The Mistress (Jermyn Street Theatre), Time Tales (Rhapsodia School's Tour), Marshmallow (Proud Unicorn), the first professional London revival of Chess (The Union Theatre, shortlist finalist for WhatsOnStage Best Musical Revival Award 2014, The Offies - Best Musical Production and Best Choreography Award 2014, Broadway World Best Musical Production Award 2014, and West End Frame Best Musical Production Award 2014), The Sound of Music (Coutier's Theatre), Closer Than Ever (Greenbelt Arts Festival), Lovely Ladies (The Venue, Leicester Square), and Phantasmic (Bradford Alhambra Studios).
